Be Ready together: a free activity sheet for children
A free, calm activity sheet that helps children aged 6 to 11 take part in the family plan, the same way they'd pack for a sleepover.
No sign-up. Black-and-white friendly. Print as many copies as you need.

What's on the sheet
- Pack my mini Be Ready bag: a tick list of comforting, child-safe things. Grown-ups keep medicines, cash and documents.
- My "who to call" card: names, a grown-up's number, a meeting place, and what 999, 111 and 105 are for.
- The power cut torch game: a short game with the lights off on purpose and a grown-up in charge.
- Colour in our ready home and an "I did it!" checklist.
For schools, PTAs and groups
Print it for a class, add it to a newsletter or send it home in book bags. It takes about 20 minutes at home and needs a torch, a bag or shoebox and a pencil. It follows the UK Government's Be Ready advice and stays calm: no storms, floods or worried faces.
For whole-school or council use with your own logo, see our organisation licences.
