How we make money
Plain answers about money and links.
How we make money
- Our own plans. We sell printable plans as PDFs. That is our main income.
- Shop links. Our shop, list and comparison pages link to retailers. Right now these are plain links and we earn nothing from them. If we join affiliate schemes (such as Amazon Associates or Awin), links will be marked * and the page will carry an "Ad" label at the top. It won't change what we list.
- Quote enquiries. We have no installer partners yet. If we sign one, it may pay us a fee for enquiries. We will name the company on the form and ask your permission before sharing your details.
What we won't do
- Show star ratings or reviews we didn't collect, or invent customer quotes.
- Use countdowns, "selling fast" or was-prices.
- Say a product will keep you safe or is "government approved".
- Sell or link iodine tablets or ex-military gas masks.
