Who each size is for
About 300 Wh: phones, lights and the broadband router for a few days. The cheapest way to keep in touch in a power cut. Our buy list picked the Jackery 300D as the example.
About 500 Wh: the above, plus a fridge for some hours. Check the continuous AC watts against your fridge.
About 1,000 Wh: a fridge or freezer cycling on and off, or a CPAP machine overnight. Heavy: 10 kg or more.

How we judged
- We used only the capacity the seller states in the product name. Where the name doesn't give it, we say so instead of guessing.
- LiFePO4 batteries are the type our buy list looked for, because they last more charge cycles.
- We grouped by size, not by brand, because the right size matters more than the logo.
What we didn't check
We haven't tested any of these. We didn't measure real capacity, noise, charging speed or how long each runs a given device. Check the continuous AC output (watts) and the warranty on the maker's page before you buy.
No star ratings: we haven't collected reviews, and we don't show anyone else's. No product can promise to keep you safe.
